| Patience |
Patience, dear players, is a virtue.
There's been several incidents in the last few days in which a player has owled a member of staff asking them to do something, and then mere minutes afterwards, they've got in touch with someone else and asked them to do it as well.
Bear in mind that your staffers are only human. We get to things as quickly as we can, and it's frustrating to find that when we do set about to do our job, it's already been done.
If you have to make a request of a staff member, please wait at least 24 hours for it to be completed before contacting someone else to do it - and be sure to let the original person you got in touch with know that it's being dealt with by someone else. That's just common courtesy, folks - and practicing patience is a good thing for everyone, honestly. |

Since we've got so many European characters who are from outside of the UK and Ireland (not to mention it being a common place for Brits to visit on holiday!), we've made a Europe forum for people to play in.

I have been noticing quite a bit of rude comments from one EHer to the next all around EH's OOC areas. Please remember to be polite and respectful when waiting for and requesting graphics, and alos remember to be patient with those around you for other things such as RP samples. Everyone has RL priorities, and unfortunately (as much as I wish it was) it isn't EH. :P
Oh, and sarcastic comments are great once in a while. But they don't need to be brought everywhere. Sometimes over the internet it is difficult to tell whether people are being serious or not.

| IT\'S THE TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT! |
You should all be delighted! This year Hogwarts is hosting the mother of all competitions. Just as the Olympics ends on muggle television, we're thinking about the TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT. We've got three heated tasks lined up for you guys. The judges are on their marks, the schools are ready, and now it's time for you to....
Go apply for a temporary Beauxbatons or Durmstrang student! We have very few positions for them open, but we do need them. The application is [url=http://www.enchantedhogwarts.net/triwizard.php]here[/url].

Applications are open from now until March 31st. Apply for either Beauxbatons or Durmstrang, either 6th or 7th year. Only 17s or older may enter their name into the goblet, but some 16s will be needed to help support their champion!
So off with you, go apply. Remember, you only have two weeks.

Just as a reminder folks, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons will only take students from certain areas, just like Hogwarts. If your character is born in England, Ireland, Scotland or Wales, then they will attend Hogwarts. Although we have no specific split of countries for the two European schools, it's probably safe to assume that the northern and eastern European countries will attend Durmstrang, while the southern and western ones (excluding the UK and Ireland) will attend Beauxbatons.
Anyone born outside of Europe will not attend any of the European schools. [/color] |

| Multiple Accounts |
We would like to remind all players on Enchanted Hogwarts that as per the rules everyone agreed to upon signing up, multiple accounts are not allowed without the prior consent of the game’s staff and admin.
Any player found with multiple accounts using the same IP address will be suspected of breaking the rules, and will be contacted directly.
Rule-breaking will result in possible jail time or even a complete ban from Enchanted Hogwarts and possibly from Equinox RPG as well.
It is recommended that anyone who shares a connection with another player or who has more than one (illegally-gained) account comes forward and contacts a member of staff to admit to it. Doing so will reduce the penalty imposed upon them as a result; honesty does pay, people! |
